RE/MAX Accord - "Brokerage expanding to Castle Pines, Colorado"

RE/MAX Accord, the largest and fastest growing real estate brokerage in Elbert County, announced today (May 21st, 2005) plans for a major expansion into Douglas County with the planned opening of a Brokerage location in Castle Pines, Colorado.  This expansion to 506 Castle Pines Parkway, Castle Rock, Colorado represents the third location for the Brokerage in Douglas County.  According to Kelly Hughes, Owner/Broker, this expansion provides some very unique opportunities for real estate Buyers and Sellers.

“Our Elizabeth location is in the heart of a rural bedroom community for the Denver metropolitan area.  Our Stroh Ranch-Parker office is strongly located within the South Denver urban area.  Our Franktown office is located squarely in between, in the heart of a high-end semi-rural/semi-urban area.  The newest location in Castle Pines, opening July 1st,  will provide the greatest concentration of coverage of any real estate brokerage within the southern and eastern areas of Douglas County and provide our clients with unparalleled market exposure to their properties.  Be it urban, rural, or semi-rural, each of these property types have unique dynamics that are important for real estate associates to understand and communicate to their clients.  Our associates have a tremendous amount of experience in all three of these property types and rotate their work between each of our locations.  Their breadth and depth of knowledge and experience give our sellers and buyers unique representation for their properties and needs,” states Hughes.  “There is a constant migration of rural property owners wanting to down-size to urban property, and urban property owners wanting to escape the congestion, and spread out in a more rural setting.  We are very well positioned to utilize our experience and diversity to make that transition a smooth and enjoyable one,” says Hughes.

Although all real estate transactions have some similarities, urban, rural, and transition area properties have attributes that differentiate them from each other.  Rural transactions require a strong understanding of issues such as water-well usage and permits, well flow and potability, septic systems, ability to subdivide, easements, agricultural zoning, land use, road maintenance, etc.  Urban transactions require a strong understanding of items such as traffic patterns, covenant controls, national and regional builder traits, zoning, community offerings, etc.  Transition properties have a high level of both attributes.

“We have been very fortunate to attract the area’s top real estate professionals that are experienced in both urban and rural properties.  Also, for those needing commercial real estate services, we have a team of commercial real estate professionals available as well.  The 150 years combined experience of all our real estate professionals along with our strong market presence, provides great advantages to clients,” added Hughes.  “RE/MAX Accord is a brokerage founded from the ground up on a philosophy of commitment to hard work, integrity, and dedication to clients and to the community.”

RE/MAX Accord takes a very active role in the community with support for the Elizabeth Stampede and Rodeo, Children’s Miracle Network, area Chambers of Commerce, Douglas County Task Force, and fundraisers for various community needs such as the DARE program, the Elizabeth Fire Protection District and area food banks.  RE/MAX Accord is proud of its associates’ involvement with the Douglas Elbert Realtor Association, and currently has two members serving as President and Vice President/President-Elect.  “We are very proud of our associates, their professionalism and their support of the needs of the area communities,” said Hughes.

RE/MAX Accord has locations at 384 W. Kiowa Avenue (Hwy. 86) in Elizabeth (303-646-9000); 2037 N. Hwy. 83 in Franktown (303-688-3601); and 12753 S.
